Accessibility
What we hold this site to, and how to tell us where it falls short.
What we aim for
CreditRefPro aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this site. Credit affects people’s lives, and a financial record you cannot read is not a record you control.
What is checked on every change
The checks below run automatically whenever the site is built. They are not a report from a review done once; a page added next month is held to the same standard without anyone having to remember.
Contrast
Text meets a 4.5:1 minimum against whatever it sits on. Contrast is computed, not judged by eye.
Structure
One first-level heading per page and no skipped levels, so the outline a screen reader navigates by is complete.
Names
Every link, button and image has an accessible name. Decorative icons are hidden rather than read out.
Keyboard
Focus is always visible, and never left underneath the sticky header when you follow a link.
Targets
Controls are at least 24 by 24 pixels, so they can be hit on a phone.
Motion
Movement is decorative and switches off for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion.
What automated checks cannot tell us
A machine can confirm that an image has alternative text. It cannot confirm that the text is accurate. It can confirm a heading exists; it cannot confirm the heading describes what follows it. It cannot judge whether reading order makes sense, whether wording is clear, or whether a task can actually be completed with a screen reader.
Those need a person, and the person best placed to find them is usually the one being obstructed. If something here does not work for you, we would rather hear about it than not.
Known gaps
The signed-in workspace — dashboards, applications, statements — is built on a third-party admin theme that has not yet been audited to the same standard as these public pages. That work is not finished, and we would rather say so than imply the whole product has been covered.
Telling us about a problem
Write to info@creditrefpro.com with the page address and what happened. If you can say what you were trying to do and what got in the way, that is more useful than a technical description.
We will confirm we have received it, and tell you what we intend to do and roughly when.
